[lug] replacement hardware for Sony Laptop

Just curious if anyone knows where I can possibly find replacement 
hardware for a Sony Vaio laptop (VGN-FZ240E).  I was given this laptop 
but the LCD and the external monitor port do not work.  Leads me to 
think that the motherboard is toast.  Just trying to see if it's worth 
my money, time, and effort to replace it as the laptop is well out of 
warranty.
