I highly recommend the Magellan Explorist 210. It mounts automatically just
like a USB memory stick on OpenSuSE. I can copy and move files to and from it.
There are many other Winblows only GPS's that will work in Linux using
GPSBabel (http://www.gpsbabel.org/). Our previous GPS was a Garmin eTrex
Legend which I used to use with GPSBabel to download through the serial port.
