No, it doesn't come down to utilitarian VS Liberty, it comes down to personal responsibility VS narcissism and acting childish. You know, Like Mr. I'm going to shake everyone's hand. Rights come with responsibilities. You don't have a "Right" or the LIberty to use dynamite to clear traffic jams. Ability does not = Right, and Right doesn't mean correct. It is just so wonderful to live in a narcissistic society! If you must hide your' head in the sand and engage in denial, please don't pull it out. It's called personal responsibility, the same reason you should't drive down main street at 100MPH, no one will appreciate such behavior. Of course the most irresponsible thing is to repeat incorrect information during a pandemic, and only worry about one's self, and to do so because of some "cult of personality" or because one refuses to grow up or consider science. If you don't like science please feel free to not use it in your' own life. I'm ultimately a moral anarchist, but that only works at all if everyone is responsible and has their' eyes open.
