[lug] Laptops again

I'm running KRUD on my Dell Latitude CPx.  Installation was not
a problem, and it runs well.  Only caveat is that there seems
to be some noise in the display that I did not notice under NT.
But overall I have had no problems, although if you do want sound
you have to purchase OSS plus the ESS Maestro2 driver.

The Platitude does not have the ctrl-shift-alt-del problem,
nor does it suspend when the lid is closed (just tried both).
