[lug] attbi: misconfigured BROADCAST addr, etc?

Thanks for verifying what I saw for port 25.  I do understand why
they did that.

Any help on the issue that is blocking my access though?  I still am
having no luck pinging IP addrs, including my own gateway.  The only
connectivity I see is tcpdump.  Details below.

What broadcast addrs are people seeing?  Am I doing something
stupid with my ifconfig line?
