Jabber, Inc. is currently searching for a Software Engineer.

Job Type: Contract-to-Hire

Job Description:
Jabber software engineers are responsible for the analysis, design, and
development of robust, high-quality software products, working according
to agreed-upon internal product development processes.  They work
cooperatively and effectively with members of other departments
including
product management, professional services and QA to deliver products
according to specification and schedule.
Experience and skills required:
 Strong knowledge of and significant professional experience with
Windows GUI development technologies, including Visual C++, Visual
Studio,
MFC, DLL, and COM.
 Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in related technological
discipline
 Very strong knowledge of and practical experience of XML
technologies
 Working familiarity with Linux and/or Solaris
 Knowledge of sound usability and human factors principles
 OOAD
 Working knowledge of XP, UML, or RUP
