Hello,

I see the follow when I cat /proc/tty/driver/serial:
serinfo:1.0 driver:5.05c revision:2001-07-08

I can verify that there is one serial port on this notebook.

Unfortunately I do not see any entries for the modem, when I try another modem that we have around here I do get an entry for it.

I have gotten the following lines for the /var/log/messages file when I insert the card:

Apr 18 13:26:02 panda kernel: cs: cb_alloc(bus 3): vendor 0x115d, device 0x0101
Apr 18 13:26:02 panda kernel: PCI: Enabling device 03:00.0 (0000 -> 0003)
Apr 18 13:26:02 panda cardmgr[580]: socket 0: CardBus hotplug device
Apr 18 13:26:02 panda /etc/hotplug/pci.agent: ... no modules for PCI slot 03:00.0

I hope this helps out a little bit more, please let me know if you need any more information.
