[lug] New here, Favorite Distros?

Started out with RH6 for a desktop and stuck with it up through FC1 but
eventually got sick of trying to hunt down a compatible rpm or manually
compile every time I wanted a decently updated piece of desktop or
multimedia software.. then stumbled upon Gentoo and never looked back.
