[lug] logging to linux

You can only parse messages into files by facility and priority.
(Note that the previous sentence isn't really true, you could setup
a named pipe perl script, then have it write out the messages to
files.)

So what you could do is something like
local0.debug	/var/log/cisco

if cisco used the local0 facility.
